Betakorbit is a Garissa-based local services business founded in 2018 by a group of experienced tradespeople and logistics professionals who were tired of watching the local market reward unreliability. The company operates as a lean, owner-managed team of eight — all based in Garissa, all with roots in the community. We specialise in home and property maintenance, minor commercial fit-out, errand and logistics support, and pre-project consultations for clients who want a structured assessment before committing to work. We serve households, residential landlords, small office tenants, and individual professionals primarily within Garissa town and the surrounding 30 km corridor. Our clients range from first-time homeowners needing a reliable handyman to established landlords managing multiple rental units who want a consistent, documented service provider they can call without drama. Since founding, we have completed over 400 discrete jobs, maintained a repeat-client rate above 70%, and grown almost entirely through referrals — which we consider the only metric that truly matters in a market built on personal trust.
How we work — and what we won't promise
Every Betakorbit engagement follows the same structured process: an initial scope conversation (in person or by phone), a written quote with itemised line items, a confirmed start date, and a completion sign-off with the client present. We use a simple digital job-tracking system — nothing elaborate, but enough to ensure nothing slips through. Our indigo-tech approach to documentation means every job is logged, every communication is traceable, and every invoice matches the approved quote. We take that level of precision seriously because we've seen how quickly trust erodes when it's absent. What we won't promise: we are not an emergency response service and cannot guarantee same-day slots outside pre-arranged agreements. Outcome timelines on larger property projects depend partly on supplier delivery windows and weather conditions in Garissa, both of which are outside our control. We'll always give you an honest timeline rather than an optimistic one, and we'll flag delays before they affect your plans rather than after. If a job falls outside our skill set, we say so clearly rather than attempt it and charge for a poor result.
